It isn’t too hard to see that in today’s standard, the concept of marriage has changed and morphed into something very far from God’s design. The people are in pain and desperately seeking love. They will accept and validate themselves by any form of love. But the truth is that the underbelly has become ugly as the evil of our sinful flesh and nature has been mixed with the lustful ways. Truthfully, our culture needs a dose of hope, and a reminder about the pure, true, and real love God offers. However, today, we see a movement drifting farther away from God’s love, giving way for the enemy to slink in and attack. Sadly, the
evil plan unfolds right before our eyes as an all-out malicious attempt to sabotage God’s precious creation and rip apart the union of two souls tied together by a solemn vow. We can see the results of this war against marriage. The statistics are at best disturbing. The divorce rate of Christian couples is currently similar to, if it’s not higher than that of nonbelievers. Oh friend, don’t lose heart. It’s nothing new.
