How can parents manage the media that is available to them 24 hours a days?
Magic has been a part of children’s literature for centuries. Our modern entertainment from Disney’s Magic Kingdom has many roots going back to Grimm’s Fairy Tales dating back to the 19th century. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was the first Disney movie, released in 1937. It featured an evil stepmother using potions, a mirror enchanted by magic, and a kiss that broke a spell.
Fast forward to today’s entertainment for kids and we see magic, witches, and the supernatural everywhere. Christian parents need to be informed and wise about the many programs that are aimed at their children.
