It isn’t hard to see that the earth is groaning. As we watch history unfold, it is as if we are experiencing the birthing process. It is so depressing to see nations become more and more hostile towards each other, as earthquakes, hurricanes and wildfires cause havoc around the world, and famine strikes every country. It is stated in the Bible that these events will take place before Jesus returns. While these uncertain times can bring about a sense of worry, we should hold on to the hope Jesus gives us in 1
Thessalonians 4:16-17. For the Lord will descend from heaven with a loud voice, the voice of an archangel, and God’s trumpet call. The dead in Christ will be the first ones to rise.
